| El Dorado, Kansas, founded in 1871, became
known as an "Oil Town," thanks to one of the largest underground oil reserves in
the United States which was pooled in the ground below it. Today, El Dorado is a progressive, economically diverse community located on the
edge of the beautiful Flint Hills in south central Kansas. From fine art museums, antique
malls and historic depots, to respected schools, medical facilities and outstanding indoor
and outdoor recreational areas, El Dorado has numerous opportunities for a diverse
population, both young and old.
Please feel free to look at the information we've gathered
here at ElDoradoKansas.Com, but don't hesitate to contact us personally to gather more information and learn
about El Dorado and the "Fine Art of Living Well."
