Library cards are free but the individual must fill out an application card. The
individual must provide a photo I.D. and proof of current address. A driver's license is
preferred. Children under the age of 16 must have a parent, guardian or other adult sign
as the responsible party.

45,000 plus titles are included in the non-fiction and fiction collections. Adult
fiction includes Mystery, Science Fiction/Fantasy and Westerns. Videos and audios include
films and fiction books as well as a wide variety of non-fiction.
The Young Adult (YA) collection includes fiction books and various magazines. This
collection is located on the main level of the library.
The juvenile collection includes picture books, graded and easy reader books and
fiction and non-fiction through 6th grade. Videos and audio books are also available in
the juvenile department.

The Library has subscriptions to over 100 magazines and newspapers.

The collections microfilm/microfiche include census records for Butler County and back
issues of selected magazines.

The Genealogy collection for researching family history includes cemetery records and
reference tools. All federal and state census for Butler County are also available.

The Library offers FREE fractional T-1 public access to the Internet. Reservations may be
made for a maximum of 30 minutes but extended usage may be available depending on demand.

2. Scroll up to Programs
3. Scroll to Accessories
4. Highlight and click on HyperTerminal
5. Double click Hypertrm
6. Put a name in the Name space (such as Bradford Library)
7. Enter 322-7693 in the Phone number space
8. Click on the phone to dial
9. Enter the word library (all in lower case letters) for the login
10. Enter the following: g0h0me99 (the 0 are zeroes) for the password.
11. When the screen comes up, push enter and follow the directions.
You will be able to search the catalog for titles, authors and subjects from our
collections. You will also be able to check your own library information with your library
card barcode. You may place your name on the hold list for any title that is checked out.
