Last November the City of El Dorado pledged $1.5 million toward the project for property acquisition and construction. The campaign will fund construction of a 35,000 square foot facility which includes a family pool, gym, walking track, cardiovascular center, strength center, racquetball courts, locker rooms and other support areas. The facility will be located in the 300 block of North Main in El Dorado, just east of the current El Dorado Health Club. Pledges toward the campaign may be structured over a 5-year period and are tax deductible. Anyone wishing to make a gift or inquire about the project should contact campaign chairman Bob Lane at 316-321-3310.
